This couple is so wonderful. Doug and Erin are such kindred sprits and I has the pleasure of photographing their wedding in December at The Cordelle. This intimate wedding was full of old friends, family, drinking, dancing, and all the good things that make up a memorable wedding. When I arrived I started by photographing all the beautiful details put together by Locklane Events (I have a crush on all of 12th tables rentals), then went upstairs to check on Erin in The Cordelle's swoon-worthy bridal suite. After the putting on of the dress and groomsmen portraits, it was time for the first look. This was by far my favorite first look. Doug's reaction to seeing his soon-to-be wife was beyond precious and might have made me tear up a bit. I have never seen a man look at his wife with such admiration. After some more portraits, the ceremony began. The officiate was a hoot- I haven't laughed that much in a ceremony before! The reception was filled with old classics spun by DJ Russ Pollard that got guests of all ages moving. The night was capped off by everyone belting out "Sweet Caroline" and a getaway car fit for a movie. What a perfect day.
Wishing much happiness to this sweet couple as they venture into the new year together as man and wife.
