Robin + Allie | Baltimore Wedding At The Elm In Hampden | Baltimore Wedding Photographer

I am obsessed with Robin and Allie's intimate outdoor wedding in the backyard of The Elm In Hampden in Baltimore, MD, just outside Washington, D.C. Allie got ready in this amazing Airbnb that was so quaint and historic. She wrapped her bouquet with shades of blue and grey pant-dyed ribbon by my favorite, Silk & Willow. They also used this ribbon for the Celtic handfasting tradition they did during their ceremony. After getting ready and sharing a first-look in the beautiful stairwell of the building, we headed to Druid Hill Park for portraits of the two of them, then back to The Elm where Allie got to work decorating the cakes and pies she had made (yes, she made her own cakes and pies! Her business is Bramble Baking Co.) We took some more photos in front of this awesome old car (I don't even know what kind it is, I've never seen anything like it!) that they venue has, and it was so cute! The Elm definitely provided a quirky and fun space for the wedding-- the inside is decked out in painting and even a red airplane hanging from the ceiling. I loved how secluded the backyard felt for the ceremony-- you know I am a sucker for green spaces and The Elm didn't disappoint! My favorite part about the ceremony was actually the exit-- as Robin and Allie were recessing, all the guests threw dried flowers in the air. It made for such a fun and exciting moment! Those were definitely my favorite photos from the day. After the ceremony, cocktail hour was held in the courtyard that was strung with lights while a friend of theirs played the stand up bass-- it was so romantic! The rest of the night was a just spend mingling and spending time with friends and family. It was very laid back, which seemed to suit Robin and Allie perfectly.

I am so glad I got the opportunity to photograph this lovely day! Best to you, Robin and Allie!
